What do bikini, intimate area, perianal area and Full Intimate include?

‘Bikini line’ and ‘Brazilian’ mean different things to different people. Our areas are precisely defined, so you know what will be treated before you book.

Which area matches what I want?

• Just the pubic mound and groin folds: Bikini, €50 per visit.
• Everything at the front, nothing behind: Intimate Zone + Bikini, €95.
• Everything, front to back, often called a ‘Brazilian’: Full Intimate, €135.
• All of that plus underarms: Underarms + Full Intimate, €165.
• Just one part: Intimate Area (€50) or Perianal / Intergluteal Area (€50).
• The buttock cheeks too: add Buttocks (€65), which Full Intimate does not include.

Underarms + Full Intimate also comes with lower legs, or lower legs and thighs. Unsure which fits? Ask in the free consultation before your first treatment.

We treat intimate areas for women only. For men we treat areas such as the back, shoulders, chest, stomach, nape and beard line.

How does an intimate laser appointment work?

Discretion, for us, means knowing beforehand exactly which area will be treated and being able to ask anything in your own time. Salta performs your treatment; she holds DEKA AGAIN training certification and German NiSV certification.

   Talk first

   A free consultation comes before your first treatment. Salta looks at your skin and hair, asks about medication, tanning and previous skin reactions, and agrees the areas with you. You can ask questions at any time.

   Eye protection and treatment

   You wear suitable eye protection during treatment [1]. We use the DEKA AGAIN COS, an Alexandrite laser at 755 nm, whose Moveo handpiece combines repeated passes with contact cooling [2].

   How it feels

   You may feel warmth, pinpricks or a quick snapping sensation [3]. Cooling supports comfort, but sensitivity varies. Tell Salta straight away if anything feels uncomfortable.

   Afterwards

   Redness and swelling like a mild sunburn are common and usually settle within 1–3 days [3]. Do not rub or scratch, and pause heat, saunas and strenuous exercise until your skin calms down. For blisters or severe pain, seek medical advice and tell us.

How do I prepare for intimate laser hair removal?

• Do not wax, epilate or pluck in the weeks before [4]; shaving shortens the hair but leaves the root. We agree the exact timing with you.
• Avoid tanning the area through sun, sunbeds or self-tan [4].
• Shave the area about 6–8 hours before your appointment. Anything you cannot reach easily, we shave for you before the treatment.
• Arrive with clean skin and no cream or deodorant on the area.
• Tell us about new medication, a recent tan or irritated skin; never stop prescribed medication on your own.

When should I postpone my appointment?

Please contact us beforehand in these cases; treatment is then usually postponed:

• Pregnancy: cosmetic laser treatment is generally postponed [1].
• Irritated, broken or inflamed skin, or an infection in the area.
• A recent tan or sunburn, including from sunbeds or self-tan [4].
• Genital herpes: please mention it, as Cleveland Clinic lists it as a possible reason to avoid treatment [1].
• Tattoos in the area: hair removal laser is not used over tattoos.

Your period or an intimate piercing is not a reason to postpone: laser treatment is possible in both cases. Just mention a piercing at your appointment.

Please take medical questions to your doctor. If treatment turns out to be unsuitable when you attend, we reschedule the treatment appointment.

How many sessions does the intimate area need?

Hair grows in phases, so plan for a course over several months. Mayo Clinic describes 4–8 treatments as a common guide [5]; the American Academy of Dermatology often describes intervals of 4–6 weeks [3]. Neither is a promise for your area: your hair, hormones and progress may mean more appointments, longer intervals or later maintenance. The aim is long-term hair reduction, not guaranteed complete hair removal [6].

That is why every area and combination is available as a 6-visit course, 30% less than six single visits. Full Intimate, for example, is €135 per visit or €567 as a course. It is valid for 18 months, with half paid at the first course appointment and the rest at the third. You choose and buy it in the studio, with the course terms in writing beforehand.

How do I get started?
